CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Labour Day, the District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, organized a legal awareness camp among workers from the unorganized sector at D-Mart Square, Kolar Road. During the camp, direct interaction was established with the workers, their problems were heard, and necessary guidance for resolving them was provided on the spot.
During the program, workers presented their various issues before the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, who explained solutions and informed them about the relevant procedures. Volunteers from a non-governmental organization (NGO) also listened to the workers’ concerns and collected their applications.
The Secretary instructed that in case of any issues related to the e-Shram Card, Sambal Scheme, or other welfare schemes, workers should submit applications to the District Legal Services Authority. It was assured that coordination with the concerned departmental officials would be established to ensure proper resolution of these issues.
Workers present at the camp were provided legal advice and given detailed information about the Sambal Scheme, e-Shram Card, and various labour welfare schemes. They were also made aware of their rights and responsibilities.
