Labour Department to Act Against Unregistered Construction Establishments in Bhopal

CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India ePress / ITDC News Bhopal: Registration of workers engaged in ongoing construction works in the district, along with registration under the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Act, 1996, is mandatory for all construction establishments. The facility to complete all registrations is available on the Shram Seva Portal through self-registration or via MP Online. The Labour Department will take action if registration is not done.

The Assistant Labour Commissioner, Bhopal Division, Bhopal, said that after registration, it is also mandatory to provide information to the Labour Department about the commencement of construction work so that the said construction works can be registered on the Shram Seva App through geo-tagging.
