CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A three-day workshop was organized at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College, Bhopal, by the Swami Vivekananda Guidance Cell in collaboration with Lakmé Academy. During the inauguration, the college principal emphasized the importance of beauty care and enhancing one’s personality to be presentable. Akhilesh Rajput, Director of Lakmé Academy, highlighted the legacy and impact of the Lakmé brand.
On the first day, basics of skin, hair, and makeup were introduced by experts. Dermatologist Diksha Gaur, hair specialist Swati Jaiswal, and makeup expert Ranjana provided detailed insights on each aspect.
The second day included live practical demonstrations of makeup and hairstyling on models. On the final day, participants were given insights into career opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry. Students from MVM and MLB Colleges also participated in the event.
The principal, Deepti Srivastava, encouraged students to strive for self-reliance. Swami Vivekananda Cell Coordinator Indira Javed, faculty members P.K. Khare and Ashok Nema, and a large number of students attended the program.
This workshop was a valuable initiative to enhance skills and create awareness about career prospects in the beauty field.
