CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma has directed officials to speed up the process of land allotment for various development works under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme.

He directed that land located in village Bagmugaliya, Tehsil Kolar, be allotted in favour of Bhopal Municipal Corporation for the construction of a sewage STP and IPS.

Divisional Commissioner Sharma chaired a review meeting on time-limit letters at the Commissioner’s office auditorium. Additional Commissioner Shivraj Verma, Deputy Commissioner Revenue Bharti Devi Mishra and officials of the departments concerned were present at the meeting.

Sharma directed that 6.240 hectares of land located in village-city Bhopal, Tehsil Huzur, city circle, be allotted in favour of Bhopal Municipal Corporation for construction of housing for the urban poor under Slum-free Bhopal, Suraj Policy and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Similarly, directions were issued to allot land in village Acharpura in favour of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion for the establishment of an industrial area.

At the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner directed that maps related to allotment of land located at village Kotra Sultanabad, TT Nagar, in favour of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion for construction of an office building of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Limited, be revised again and submitted.

Sharma also directed officials to submit fresh proposals for allotment of land located at village Hinotia Alam, Tehsil Kolar, and village Behta Bairagarh, in favour of Bhopal Municipal Corporation for housing construction under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
