CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A research-oriented departmental seminar focusing on the Indian Knowledge Tradition was organized by the Postgraduate Hindi and English Departments of Shri Satya Sai Women’s College, Bhopal. The seminar discussed the rich and continuous developmental journey of various subjects related to language and literature as embedded within the Indian knowledge tradition.
As part of research skill training, students were thoughtfully guided on how to visit libraries to identify relevant material in books, underline and reference content appropriately, and use sources contextually to ensure the authenticity of their research. The seminar also highlighted common research challenges and their solutions, emphasizing the importance of credible research and presenting it as a strong foundation for transmitting knowledge traditions from one generation to the next.

Following the research skill training, postgraduate students of Hindi and English made successful efforts to write research papers related to their subjects and curriculum, and presented their work through PDF documents and PowerPoint presentations. This seminar was an innovative initiative aimed at developing a research-oriented mindset among students, encouraging them to move beyond rote learning towards critical study, exploration, and authentic presentation of ideas.
The seminar was successfully conducted under the able leadership of Anupama Chauhan, Head of the Hindi Department, and Megha Singh, Head of the English Department, with active guidance from Hindi faculty members Manisha Tripathi, Anuradha Singh, Anita Tiwari, and English faculty member Akanksha.
