CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Indian Postal Department has launched the approved 24-Speed Post, 48-Speed Post, and 24-Speed Post Parcel services to make its offerings more organized, faster, and customer-friendly. On this occasion, a customer conference was held at the Conference Hall, First Floor, Post Office Building, Arera Hills, Bhopal, to engage with customers and business partners.
Notably, the formal inauguration of these new services was carried out by Hon’ble Minister of Communications and Minister of Development of North-Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia and Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Chandrashekhar Paimasani in New Delhi. The event was broadcast live to all participants attending the customer conference in Bhopal.
The program was presided over by R.S. Raghuvanshi, Director, Postal Services (Headquarters). In his inaugural address, he stated that the Indian Postal Department is continuously striving to modernize and enhance the efficiency of its services. With the introduction of 24-Speed Post, 48-Speed Post, and 24-Speed Post Parcel services, customers will benefit from timely, reliable, and rapid mail and parcel delivery, which will also give a boost to business activities.
He further informed that these services have currently been launched in select major cities—Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Hyderabad—and will be gradually expanded to other cities to ensure that more customers can avail of these services.
During the program, participants, business representatives, and other stakeholders engaged in detailed discussions about various postal services and their suggestions were welcomed. Information about the features of Speed Post, Parcel services, and other logistics offerings was also shared.
The esteemed customers and business partners present at the conference appreciated the Postal Department’s new initiative and expressed their commitment to continue collaborating with the department in the future. The Indian Postal Department thanked all customers and partners on this occasion and expressed hope that such interactive programs will further strengthen cooperation and trust between the department and its clientele.
