What is ITEP?
The Integrated Teacher Education Program is a four-year undergraduate program. It is a key initiative of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), launched under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This course combines a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). The main objective is to prepare excellent teachers for school education, while NCTE aims to ensure that future educators receive the highest quality education in content, pedagogy, values, and practice.
