CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Bhopal, has established a new platform for football players in the state by launching the Tagore Football Club in partnership with India Rush Soccer Club, one of the world’s prominent football clubs. This strategic collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Dr. Sangeeta Johri, Registrar of the University, and Denis Fernandes, CEO of India Rush Soccer Club, signed the historic MoU. Following the signing ceremony, the team jersey of the Tagore Football Club was unveiled. On this occasion, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of ISECT Group and Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Pro-Chancellor of RNTU, Registrar Sangeeta Johri, Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Sinha, and India Rush CEO Denis Fernandes jointly unveiled the team T-shirts.

Expressing his delight, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that following this agreement, there will be an exchange of ideas, subject experts, and resources between RNTU and India Rush Soccer Club. This will ensure that the Tagore Football Club becomes a strong platform to develop new football talent in Madhya Pradesh and India. The collaboration will not only provide players with high-level training but also integrate education, skills, and research, equipping them to face future challenges. The aim is to combine sports and education so that players can excel internationally and inspire society.

The event was also attended by several dignitaries including HOD of Physical Education, Vikas Saxena, Sports Officer Satish Ahirwar, and Public Relations Officer Vijay Pratap.
