CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / Bhopal: Prof N S Singh, former professor and head of the department of King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, AIIMS Bhopal has passed away. Dr. Verma delivered a lecture on “Management of Hypertension – Indian Guidelines”.  On this occasion, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal Ajay Singh said that in today’s hectic life, people do not pay as much attention to their health as they should.  Apart from this, today’s lifestyle and eating habits also cause high blood pressure and people unknowingly become victims of it. Which further causes other diseases.

Prof. N.S. Singh, former Professor and Head of Department, KGMU, Lucknow. Verma covered important aspects of hypertension management in the lecture, emphasizing on unique challenges and solutions related to the Indian context. Their experience gave participants better insight.  Thereby, patient outcomes can be improved through evidence-based practices. Professor Verma’s in-depth discussion on hypertension management was both instructive and inspiring, providing valuable insights for the attendees to enhance their clinical practices. The lecture was attended by more than 100 participants, including MBBS students, nursing students and faculty members, who showed keen interest towards understanding and implementing the latest hypertension management protocols in the country.

A Q&A session was also held at the end of the programme.  In which Prof. Verma also cleared the doubts of the participants. The lecture not only strengthened AIIMS Bhopal’s commitment to medical excellence but also highlighted the role of the institute in disseminating critical healthcare knowledge.
