LED publicity vehicles to take government schemes to villages, cities

In Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, two LED publicity vehicles were flagged off with the objective of taking information about government schemes to the general public. Through this initiative, people living in the district’s rural and urban areas will be informed about various public welfare schemes, achievements and facilities of the government.

On the occasion, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) said the message of government schemes would be taken through these publicity vehicles to every village in the district and to major areas of the city. Information related to schemes, awareness messages and programmes connected with public interest will be displayed on the LED screens, so that more people can avail themselves of government facilities.

He said that many times, eligible people are unable to benefit from government schemes due to lack of information. In such a situation, the LED publicity vehicles will prove helpful in making people aware of the schemes and providing them with necessary information.

Both vehicles will be sent to different areas of the district according to the scheduled programme. The objective of this initiative is to expand the publicity and outreach of government schemes and provide ordinary citizens with information about government programmes through a simple medium.
