CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directives of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and under the guidance of Manoj Kumar Srivastava, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bhopal, a Legal Awareness Camp was organized at the Central Jail, Bhopal on the occasion of International Human Rights Day by Sunit Agrawal, Secretary/Judge, District Legal Services Authority.
During the camp, the inmates were asked about their concerns and were informed about human rights, the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Indian Constitution, legal rights, UTRC, and the Free Legal Aid – Legal Aid Defense Counsel Scheme. Inmates were also given detailed information about the Poor Prisoner Assistance Scheme.
Present during the camp were Rakesh Bhangde, Jail Superintendent; Maravi, Additional Superintendent; and other jail officers and staff.
