CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Bharatiya Bhasha Sangam – “Celebration of Linguistic Heritage,” a national workshop, was ceremonially inaugurated with full Vedic rituals at the Government Holkar (Model Autonomous) Science College in Indore. The event was jointly organized under the aegis of the Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti, Ministry of Education, and Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, Malwa Province.

On this occasion, thoughts were shared on awakening a sense of self-identity within Indian society and fostering devotion toward Indian languages. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of Indian knowledge traditions in line with the National Education Policy 2020. A special exhibition on Indian languages was also showcased at the college.

The workshop witnessed the presence of popular MLA of Indore Constituency No. 3, Golu Shukla; National Vice President and Regional Coordinator of Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, Shashiranjan Akela; Vice-Chancellor of Devi Ahilya University, Indore, Rakesh Singhai; Regional Additional Director of Higher Education, R.C. Dixit; College Principal Anamika Jain; and Chairman of the College’s Janbhagidari Committee, Dinesh Khandelwal. Numerous linguists, subject experts, academicians, professors, and other distinguished scholars from across the country also graced the event.
