CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “In accordance with the directives of Hon’ble Justice Vivek Agrawal of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, and under the guidance of the Chief District and Sessions Judge of Bhopal, Amitabh Mishra, a special Ayurvedic health examination and medical advisory legal aid camp program was organized at the Central Jail in Bhopal.
The Chief Guest of the program at the Central Jail in Bhopal was Chief District and Sessions Judge Amitabh Mishra, who inaugurated the special Ayurvedic health camp by lighting the lamp. Present at this occasion were Rajarshi Srivastava, Special District Judge; Aarti Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal; other judges from the District and Sessions Court, Bhopal; and Rakesh Kumar Bhange, Superintendent of the Central Jail in Bhopal. Also present were Sapna Jain, Principal of LN Ayurveda College and Hospital, Bhopal.
Chief Guest Amitabh Mishra, Chief District and Sessions Judge, expressed in his address that the District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, is always committed to resolving the health and other legal issues of incarcerated prisoners in the jail. A medical camp, along with legal assistance, was organized for the special Ayurvedic health examination and medical advisory at the Central Jail in Bhopal, on Sunday. During this Ayurvedic health camp, health examinations of a total of 315 prisoners, comprising 290 male and 25 female inmates, were conducted.
In this health examination camp organized by LN Ayurveda College and Hospital, Pankaj Nigam, Ashutosh Shukla, Ravikant Gupta, Pallavi Ghadge, and Nishigandha Kuwade conducted health examinations of the prisoners according to their respective expertise. Raghunath Tijare, Baishali Thore, Anjali Bijli, Pratima, Sandeep Bairagi, Suraj More, and Rahul Ramaniya tirelessly contributed to making the camp successful.
District Legal Aid Officer Abhay Singh, Deputy Jail Superintendent Saroj Mishra, Senior Inspection and Welfare Officer Ramdas Umade, Assistant Jail Superintendent Dinesh Mewel, Harish Arya, and all other officers and staff were present at the occasion.”
