CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: LN Ayurveda College and Hospital, through its Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, organized a one-day Menstrual Awareness Camp at the Damkheda Anganwadi Center, Bhopal. The camp saw participation from over 100 women, who were educated about menstrual health. Participants were informed about the importance of maintaining hygiene during menstruation, keeping the body clean, and how proper hygiene can prevent infections and diseases during this period.

The camp also included the distribution of free sanitary pads, facilitated by Ms. Pooja Chouksey of the Kala Kunj Foundation.

In a related initiative, a Garbh Sanskar Camp was organized at the Akbarpur Anganwadi Center. Approximately 50 women participated in this camp, where they were introduced to the concept of Garbh Sanskar—a training process aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of both the mother and the unborn child, with the goal of nurturing an ideal progeny.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, including Professor Vrushali, Assistant Professors Chitrakala and Nishigandha, as well as interns and students from the institution. Attendees were encouraged to participate in future Garbh Sanskar workshops to benefit from this initiative.
