CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News, Bhopal: A special health awareness camp focusing on cervical cancer was organized at Akanksha Girls Hostel, Katara Hills, Bhopal, under the joint aegis of J.K. Hospital, L.N. Medical College, and D.K. Social Welfare Group. This camp was especially arranged for girl students preparing for JEE exams.

The campaign was directed under the guidance of A.K. Chaudhary (Director, J.K. Hospital), Soumya Jain, and Achintya Jain (Founder & Chairperson, D.K. Social Welfare Group and BCC). During the camp, students were informed and trained on critical health topics including cervical cancer, HPV vaccine, sickle cell anemia, breast cancer, and self-breast examination.

Health check-ups were conducted for the students, and necessary medicines were distributed free of cost to those in need.

Many dedicated young doctors volunteered and provided guidance to the students. Volunteers included Prakash Yadav, Uday Sharma, Shivani Porwal, Priyanka Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Viraj Shukla, Shailvi Malliwal, Simran Singh, Shivam Chauhan, Parul Workade, and Nisha Nagpal. Their dedication and service played a vital role in raising health awareness among the students.

This camp proved to be another successful step towards women’s health and empowerment, where all collaborating organizations jointly took a strong step toward ensuring a bright, safe, and healthy future for the students.
