CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The LN Universe Sports Fest, which had been taking place for the past 15 days at LNCT University, concluded with a prize distribution ceremony held at the CME Hall. The awards were distributed by distinguished guests including Anupam Chouksey, Chancellor of JNCT Professional University; Dharmendra Gupta, Executive Director of LNCT University; Ajit Kumar Soni, Registrar; along with A. K. Singhai, Vivek Shrivastava, Toshi Vyas, Mukesh Sahu, Pankaj Kumar Jain, and P. S. Dara.
In the men’s chess category, Chirag Dubey from the School of Pharmacy secured the first position, while Sarthak Bawariya from the School of Legal Studies finished second. In the women’s chess category, Anushka Pathak from LN Ayurveda secured first place and Khushboo Yuvraj Choudhary from LN Paramedical stood second.
In carrom (men’s category), Harsh Dwivedi from the School of Pharmacy won first place, while Daksh Shinde from the School of Legal Studies secured second position. In the women’s category, Jessica Dangi from Ayurveda secured first place and Prerna Shukla from LN Nursing finished second.
In table tennis (men’s category), the School of Physical Education secured first place, while the School of Legal Studies finished second. In badminton (men’s category), the School of Physical Education secured first place and LN Medical College came second. In the women’s badminton category, JK Paramedical secured first place while the School of Ayurveda finished second.
In volleyball, the School of Legal Studies secured first place, while the School of Physical Education finished second. In the women’s category, the School of Ayurveda secured first place and the School of Physical Education stood second.
In tug of war, the Ayurveda College secured first place in both men’s and women’s categories. JK Paramedical finished second in the men’s category, while LN Paramedical secured second place in the women’s category.
In cricket, last year’s champions, the School of Legal Studies, retained the first position, while the School of Physical Education secured second place. In the women’s cricket category, the School of Physical Education secured first place and LN Nursing finished second.
In futsal, the School of Physical Education emerged as the champion in both men’s and women’s categories. The School of Ayurveda finished second in the men’s category, while JK Paramedical secured second place in the women’s category.
Tournament coordinator Pankaj Kumar Jain stated that the university organizes the LN Universe Sports Fest every year, in which players from all departments actively participate. This year, around 1,100 athletes took part in the event. He also informed that volleyball and cricket matches were conducted under floodlights, adding excitement to the tournament.
