CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the 11th National Ice Stock Sports Championship 2024-25, organized by the Ice Stock Sports Federation of India in Gulmarg, Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh athletes showcased an outstanding performance, winning six medals – one gold, two silver, and three bronze.

In the Junior Girls Team, Renu and Himanshi Mandavi from LNCT BPES, along with Ishika Nankar and Falak Pawar from Betul, won a silver medal in the team game and a bronze medal in the team target event.

In the Junior Boys Team, Harshit Jain from LNCT BPES, Adesh Ahirwar from Bhopal, Izarul Ali, and Naitik Vishwakarma secured a bronze medal in the team distance event.

In the Youth Boys Team, Rahil Khan, Zeeshan Ahmed, and Fardeen Khan from Betul, along with Krishnakant from LNCT BPES, won a bronze medal in the team game.

In the Youth Girls Team, Apoorva and Aditi from LNCT BCA, along with Renu and Himanshi from BPES, won a gold medal in the team game and a silver medal in the team target event.

The Madhya Pradesh Ice Stock Team was coached by Shahnawaz Hussain Mir, an international player from LNCT, and Shabana Khan, a Khelo India medalist from Betul, was appointed as the women’s team coach. The team manager was Tanwant Singh.

Players from Sehore, Betul, Bhopal, Bina, Multai, and Shajapur were part of the Madhya Pradesh Ice Stock Team.

For their remarkable performance, congratulations were extended by Anupam Chouksey (President, Ice Stock Sport Association Madhya Pradesh & Joint Secretary, Ice Stock Sports Federation of India), Abrar Ahmed Sheikh (Director, Ice Stock Madhya Pradesh), Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director, LNCT University), Prof. N.K. Thapak (Vice Chancellor), Ajit Soni (Registrar), Ashok Rai (Dean Administration, LNCT), Pankaj Jain (Secretary, Ice Stock Sport Association Madhya Pradesh), Mohammad Uzer (Treasurer), Satyendra Singh Siwach, and Mahesh Sodhiya.
