CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Exciting matches were played in the inter-college and inter-school basketball championship organized by the LNCT Group on the newly constructed basketball court at Lakshmi Narayan College of Technology (LNCT) Raisen Road campus, Bhopal. On the second day of the four-day tournament, league matches in the men’s category saw MANIT defeating People’s with a score of 30-10, LNCT defeating SATI with 52-26, SIRT defeating People’s with 33-14, and NMV defeating Excellence with 45-42, marking a strong start. This tournament is being played on a league-cum-knockout basis, with 12 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams participating at the college level.
In the women’s matches, People’s defeated the host team LNCT with a score of 10-6, and SIRT started their campaign with a 29-25 win over BU. Tournament coordinator Mahesh Sodhiya mentioned that tomorrow the school-level boys’ and girls’ matches will be played.
