CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: In the RGPV Nodal Drop Roball competition being played by LNCT College under the auspices of RGPV University Bhopal at Raisen Road Campus, Bhopal, LNCT stood first with 8 points overall with 8 points and Bansal Mandideep stood second with 5 points in the women’s category.

In the men’s category, JNCT College stood first with 10 points and LNCT stood second with 8 points.

Before the final matches, K.T. Chaturvedi DSW RGPV, Anupam Chouksey, Secretary, LNCT Group,. Ashok Rai, Director, Administration, LNCT College received an introduction from all the players and gave best wishes.

In the men’s singles final match played on the second day of the competition, Sachin Gupta of JNCT defeated Abir Billore of RGPV UIT by 11-7, 11-9 to clinch the title. Kanishka Sarkar of Oriental secured the third position.

In the men’s doubles final, the pair of Krishna Gopal and Vishal of JNCT defeated Himanshu and Hemant of LNCT by 11-9, 11-8 to clinch the title. Aaqib Raza and Sahil Gupta of Sem secured the third position.

In the men’s triple final match, LNCT’s Ali, Vikas, Shayan defeated Bansal’s Aman, Abhishek, Ajay, 11-7, 11-8 to clinch the title. Rahul, Niranjan, Amardeep of Corporate secured the third position.

In the mixed doubles final, JNCT pair of Aditi and Pawan defeated Mohammad Umar and Agrima 11-8, 11-9 to clinch the title. Rani and Aman of Mandideep stood third.

On the concluding occasion of the competition, Pankaj Jain Sports Officer LNCT awarded medals and trophies to the players who secured first, second and third positions.
