CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 7th State-Level Senior and Junior Rugby 7s (Boys & Girls) Tournament 2026, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Rugby Football Association at LNCT Bhopal, concluded with thrilling matches. On the final day, players delivered outstanding performances, entertaining the audience with skillful and competitive play.

In the Junior Girls category, Raisen defeated Indore 30-0 in the first semifinal, while Narmadapuram beat Sehore 5-0 in the second semifinal to reach the finals. In the final match, Sehore defeated Raisen 5-0 to claim the championship. Narmadapuram secured third place by defeating Indore 25-0.

In the Junior Boys category, Betul beat Narmadapuram 5-0 in the first semifinal, and Dewas defeated Raisen 10-5 in the second semifinal to enter the final. Dewas won the title by defeating Betul 20-5 in the final. Raisen claimed third place with a 35-0 victory over Narmadapuram.

In the Senior Women’s category, Narmadapuram defeated Indore 5-0 in the first semifinal, and Shajapur beat Betul 5-0 in the second semifinal to reach the final. Shajapur won the championship by defeating Indore 5-0, while Narmadapuram secured third place with a 10-0 victory over Betul.

In the Senior Men’s category, Bhopal defeated Narmadapuram 15-0 in the first semifinal, and Dewas beat Khargone 10-5 in the second semifinal. Dewas clinched the title with a 25-0 victory over Bhopal in the final, while Khargone defeated Narmadapuram 10-5 to secure third place.

During the closing ceremony, Anupam Choukse, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Rugby Football Association, Abrar Ahmed Sheikh, Secretary, Pankaj Jain, Treasurer, Sandeep Yadav, Technical Director, and Dr. P.S. Dara awarded medals and trophies to the winners, runners-up, and third-place teams.

The Best Player awards were presented to Manisha (Junior Girls, Shajapur), Sujal (Junior Boys, Dewas), Diksha (Senior Women, Indore), and Anshul (Senior Men, Bhopal). District secretaries from various regions and officials serving as match adjudicators were honored with mementos.
