The 4th LNCT Sports Achievers Awards was celebrated at Aryabhatt Auditorium, Raisen Road, Bhopal, on the occasion of Captain Roop Singh’s 118th birthday. The chief guest of the program was Ashok Dhyan Chand (Arjuna Awardee Olympian), with special guests including Kamal Chawla (World 6-Red Snooker Champion), Anupam Chouksey (Chancellor, JNCT Professional University & Secretary, LNCT Group), Rajesh Tripathi (Chairman, AICPC), and Dr. N.K. Thapak (Vice Chancellor, LNCT University).
The event honored distinguished coaches such as Amit Gautam (Athletics), Inspector Kunal (CISF Handball Team Coach, Bhilai Chhattisgarh), Dr. Anju Lata (Hockey, Chandigarh), Bhanu Yadav (Sports Coordinator, Raisen Athletics), Aparajita (Shooting Coach, MP Shooting Academy), Ankit Kushwaha (Sports Coordinator, Udaipura Athletics), Deepesh Sharma (Sharma Fitness Center, Budhni), Vikas Sharma (Kabaddi, Narsinghpur), R.K. Sharma (Sports Director, TIT), R.P. Singh (Sej University), Arvind Gupta (St. Thomas), Kailash Kattarwar (Mount Fort), Manish Kolte (Ryan International), Sachin Swami (St. Xavier’s), Rajan Yadav (St. Xavier’s), Rajesh Thakur, Rajkumar, K.C. Rajalakshmi (St. Theresa).
Outstanding players honored included Affan Yusuf (International Hockey Player), Atif Khan (Hockey), Khushita Jain, Rusa Tumbad (Karate), Arjun Vaskle (LNCT, Eklavya Awardee Athletics), Prince Solanki (All India Medalist Karate), Harshit Jain (Winner – E-Sports Tennis, Gold Medal Six-a-Side Cricket, Drop-Roball, Ice Stock), Krishnakant Patel (Gold Medal – Six-a-Side Cricket, Drop-Roball), Narendra Singh Rathore (Gold Medal – Six-a-Side Cricket, Drop-Roball), Sachin Singh Tomar (International Kudo), Renu (Ice Stock), Mahi Lama (International Boxing Player), and Chandra Prakash Yadav (Para Badminton Event). All players were honored with shawls and mementos.
The university provided incentives totaling over ₹5 lakh. Gold medal-winning teams were awarded ₹25,000, silver medal-winning teams ₹15,000, and bronze medal-winning teams ₹10,000. Individual All-India best zone winners received ₹10,000 for gold, ₹5,000 for silver, and ₹2,000 for bronze.
More than 200 LNCT Group players were recognized with mementos for national achievements across various sports including baseball, shooting, cricket, chess, table tennis, athletics, volleyball, basketball, handball, rugby, kabaddi, kho-kho, ice stock, pilota vasca, badminton, arm wrestling, kudo, football, judo, and karate. Additionally, outstanding sports teachers from various districts were honored with mementos for their contributions.
The event was hosted by international commentator Vikas Kumar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Pankaj Kumar Jain.
