Drop Roball Inter-University Championship Concludes at LNCT

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: All India Inter-University Drop Roball (Men & Women) Championship 2024-25 Successfully Concludes at LNCT University

Under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the four-day All India Inter-University Drop Roball (Men & Women) Championship 2024–25 was successfully concluded at LNCT University, held at the LNCT Campus, Raisen Road, Bhopal.

In the men’s category, host LNCT University secured overall first place with 2 gold medals. JJTU Rajasthan claimed second place with 1 gold and 1 silver medal, while Sangam University Rajasthan earned third place with 1 gold medal.

In the women’s category, MGKVP stood first overall with 2 gold medals. RGPV secured second place with 2 golds and 1 bronze medal, while the University of Calicut took third place with 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.

At the closing ceremony, LNCT University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Thapak, Drop Roball Federation of India Founder Ishwar Singh Arya, LNCT Sports Director Pankaj Jain, Technical Director Mrityunjay Sharma, Director Nagendra Sharma, and Laxman Singh honored the first, second, and third-place teams with medals and trophies.

Match officials, coaches, and managers from various universities were also felicitated with mementos. Several players received gifts through a lucky draw, adding to the celebration of sportsmanship and unity.
