CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the RGPV Nodal Swimming Competition 2024-25, organized under the aegis of Bhopal’s Rajiv Gandhi University, LNCT repeated its previous performance and won the overall championship title with a total of 18 medals, including 17 gold and 1 silver.

The competition, held at Vaishnavi Institute, saw remarkable performances from LNCT athletes. Hansika Sugani secured 3 gold medals in the 400m, 100m, and 50m freestyle events. Priyansh Saini won 3 gold medals in the 200m butterfly stroke, 200m backstroke, and 400m individual events. Amrisha Sharma also bagged 3 gold medals in the 50m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke, and 50m freestyle. Sachin Meher claimed 3 gold medals in the 100m, 400m, and 1500m freestyle events. Varun Kumar Singh earned 3 gold medals in the 50m and 100m butterfly stroke, and the 800m freestyle events. Vrish Sharma took 2 gold medals in the 50m freestyle and 200m individual medley, along with a silver in the 50m backstroke.

All the victorious athletes were congratulated by Anupam Chouksey, Secretary of LNCT Group, Dr. Ashok Rai, Director of Administration at LNCT, B.K. Sahu, Principal of LNCT, Pankaj Jain, Sports Director of LNCT, Tanwant Singh, Mahesh Sondhiya, and others.
