CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the auspices of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, the Nodal Hockey (Men) Tournament 2025–26 was organized by JNCT at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, Mayur Park, Bhopal. LNCT’s team delivered an impressive performance, defeating JNCT 2–0 in the semifinal to secure a place in the final. In the final match, LNCT clinched the title by defeating Bansal Bhopal 3–1 in a penalty shootout.
In the final, Gagan Gavande, Nitesh Gadge, and Aman Pawar scored crucial goals during the penalty shootout, playing a key role in their team’s victory.
The LNCT team comprised Nitesh Gadge (Captain), Gagan Gavande, Prashant Kurmi, Ankur Soni, Vaibhav Thakur, Himanshu Punde, Krishna Punde, Anshu Patel, Prashant Dwivedi, Aman Pawar, Ravindra Baghel, among others. The team was coached by Mahesh Sondhiya.
