LNCT University Chancellor Jaynarayan Chouksey Honoured in Delhi

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Labour and Employment Summit–2025, held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, the Chancellor of LNCT University, Bhopal, participated in the programme where the Union Minister for Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, was present as the Chief Guest. Member of the National Human Rights Commission, Priyank Kanoongo, and Jaynarayan Chouksey, Chancellor of LNCT University, Bhopal and Chairman of the LNCT Group, attended the event as Special Guests.

On this occasion, Jaynarayan Chouksey was honoured with the Shram Shakti Samman for his remarkable contributions in the fields of labour, education, and skill development. The award was presented by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. The dignified event also witnessed the special presence of Dr. Deepak Kumar Jaiswal, organiser of the programme and National President of the National Front of Indian Trade Unions (NFITU). More than 300 representatives from 16 central labour organisations across the country participated in this national summit.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that the new Labour Codes not only strengthen social security for workers but also establish a balance between industry and employment, which will help achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047. Accepting the honour, Jaynarayan Chouksey stated that the implementation of the new Labour Codes will create new employment opportunities for millions of youth in the country, accelerate industrial growth, and increase employment in both the organised and unorganised sectors.

During the programme, a booklet written in simple language on the new Labour Codes by Dr. Virat Jaiswal, Deputy Registrar of LNCT University and General Secretary of NFITU, was also released. The booklet aims to provide clear and accurate information about the Labour Codes to workers and the general public. Notably, the Shram Shakti Samman is conferred annually at the national level by NFITU to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the labour sector.
