CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the wizard of hockey, and National Sports Day, LNCT Group organised various sports competitions at LNCT University, Kolar Road, and LNCT, Raisen Road.
At the programme organised by the LNCT Sports Department at LNCT University, Kolar Road, Pankaj Kumar Jain, Sports Director, LNCT Group, and Dr. P. S. Dara Singh paid floral tributes to the portrait of Major Dhyan Chand.
On this occasion, various sports competitions, including futsal, chess, table tennis and carrom, were organised for students on both college campuses. A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the competitions and displayed sporting spirit.
Through the programme, students were encouraged to become more aware of sports and to draw inspiration from the life and sporting achievements of Major Dhyan Chand. The sports competitions created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and sporting activity on both campuses.
