CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the auspices of the Indian Kabaddi Federation, the 6th National Kabaddi Championship 2025 was grandly organized and successfully concluded at LNCT University, Bhopal. Teams from various states across the country participated enthusiastically in this national tournament.

Teams from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Central India, Telangana, along with LNCT University and other states, took part in the competition. The championship was conducted in multiple age categories for both boys and girls.

In the Under-14 age category, the Telangana team delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Central India 21–13 to claim the championship title. Central India finished as runners-up, while Vidarbha secured third place.

In the Under-17 age category, the Jammu & Kashmir team emerged victorious by defeating Madhya Pradesh 30–15 to secure first place. Madhya Pradesh finished as runners-up, and Central India claimed third position.

In the Under-21 Youth (Boys) category, LNCT University won the title by defeating Central India 25–10. Central India finished as runners-up, while Madhya Pradesh secured third place.

In the Youth Girls category, the Central India team claimed first place by defeating LN Medical 15–10. LN Medical finished as runners-up, and the Jammu & Kashmir team secured third position.

Throughout the competition, players demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and strong performances. In the Under-14 category, Farman and Kartik from Madhya Pradesh; in the Under-17 category, Armaan from Jammu & Kashmir and Sahil from Madhya Pradesh; and in the Under-21 Youth category, Ankit from LNCT University and Krishna Ambedkar from Central India drew special attention with their impressive gameplay.
