CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: International Women’s Day was celebrated at LNCT University to promote women’s empowerment and awareness of their rights. The event was organized by the School of Legal Studies. The main theme of the celebration, “Give to Gain,” emphasized mutual support and collaboration to promote gender equality.
The program began with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by Ganesh Vandana. Prof. Mukesh Kumar Sahu addressed the audience, highlighting that women are the creators of this universe, and the existence of society cannot be imagined without them.
The Chief Guests of the program were Prof. Sushma Sharma (NLIU), Isha Kalia (CEO and Founder, Vigny Incorporation), and Prof. Nalini Mishra (Dean, LN Medical College & JK Superspeciality Hospital). Prof. Sushma Sharma discussed various rights of women and constitutional provisions. Isha Kalia highlighted key points regarding financial management and financial autonomy for women. Prof. Nalini Mishra shared insights on women’s health issues and their care during critical periods.
Poonam Chouksey (Vice-Chairperson, LNCT Group) addressed the audience, saying, “Where a woman smiles, the world is filled with happiness. Respect for women is the true identity of a society.”
Other dignitaries present included Jai Narayan Chouksey (Chancellor, LNCT University), Shweta Chouksey (Executive Director, LNCT Group), Prof. N.K. Thapak (VC, LNCT University), Ajit Soni (Registrar, LNCT University), A.K. Singhai (Dean Academic, LNCT University), and Prof. R.K. Chaurasia (Principal, School of Paramedical, LNCT University).
The program’s success was supported by significant contributions from Yogini Upadhyay, Soumya Dubey, and Rajat Umre. The achievements of the event were appreciated by Anupam Chouksey (Group Secretary, LNCT) and Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director), who congratulated all involved.
