CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: All India Inter-University Jiu-Jitsu Championship organized at LNCT University. Under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities, the All India Inter-University Jiu-Jitsu Championship organized by LNCT University at LNCT Kolar Road, Bhopal, witnessed another day of impressive performances by athletes. Participants from universities across the country showcased उत्कृष्ट skills and secured medals in various weight categories.

The bouts in Ne-Waza, Fighting System, and Full Contact categories were highly exciting, with players demonstrating remarkable technique, strength, and confidence.

In the Ne-Waza Women’s (-57 kg) category, Dugi Lulu won the gold medal. Jiya from MJPRU secured silver, while Swarna Jain and Lovely jointly won bronze medals.

In the Ne-Waza Women’s (+70 kg) category, Tanu Rani clinched gold, while Vishakha won silver. Bronze medals were jointly awarded to Jahnavi Sen and Arpita.

In the Fighting System Men’s (-56 kg) category, Bayabang Bhupai won gold, while Rajkumar Sen secured silver. The bronze medals were jointly won by Durvesh Pal and Thejas BR.

In the Fighting System Men’s (-62 kg) category, Umesh Saket won gold, while Anuj Burman secured silver. Bronze medals were jointly awarded to Yashvardhan and Hangkhanil Neog.

In the Full Contact Women’s (-63 kg) category, Tabbu won gold, while Harshita Bharti secured silver. Bronze medals were jointly awarded to Alka and Dharitri Saikia.

During the medal ceremony, medals were presented to the winners by Dr Mandeep Singh (Sports Director, Jammu and Kashmir University and AIU Observer), Amit Arora (General Secretary, Jiu-Jitsu Federation of India), Balakrishna Setty (Technical Director), Pankaj Parashar (Coordinator), and Pankaj Kumar Jain (Sports Director, LNCT Bhopal).
