CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Students of LNCT University, Bhopal visited the Central Jail, Bhopal. The visit was led by Prof. Mukesh Kumar Sahu (Dean & Director, School of Legal Studies). The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical experience and insights related to the prison system.
During the visit, Prof. Mukesh Kumar Sahu presented a memento to Rakesh Kumar Bhangre (Jail Superintendent). Students learned about the rights of prisoners and observed the jail’s structure, barracks, library, and other facilities. They gained information about the daily life of inmates, their work, experiences, and the role and responsibilities of the prison administration.
The program was successfully supported by Dr. Yogini Upadhyay, Karan Tiwari, Soumya Dubey, and Dr. Devendra Mani Mishra. On the occasion of the event’s success, Dr. Anupam Chouksey (Secretary, LNCT Group), Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director), and the V.C. Registrar along with other officials congratulated the team and students.
