CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The School of Legal Studies, LNCT University, Bhopal, organised a tree plantation programme. The programme was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu, Dean and Director, School of Legal Studies. Sunit Agrawal, District Judge and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Bhopal, attended as the chief guest. M. Jilani, District Legal Aid Officer, Bhopal; Ajit Soni, Registrar, LNCT University; Dr. Anu Shrivastava; and Captain Piyush Nema, NCC Officer, attended as invited guests.
The programme began with the welcome of the guests. Thereafter, Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu addressed the gathering and said that, under the Constitution of India, protecting and enriching the environment is a fundamental duty of every citizen of India. He said this duty is not only toward ourselves but also for the welfare of society and the country as a whole.
All faculty members of the law department, departmental staff, NCC cadets and students were present at the programme. The event was held under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Kumar Sahu. Dr. Devendra Mani Mishra and Namika Dubey made an important contribution to making the programme successful. On the success of the programme, LNCT Group Secretary Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Dharmendra Gupta, Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Thapak and others extended their congratulations.
