CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the auspices of the Association of Indian Universities, the West Zone Inter-University Men’s Volleyball Championship was successfully organized by LNCT University, Bhopal, at LNCT University, Kolar Road, Bhopal. The tournament witnessed several thrilling and closely contested matches, providing exciting moments for the spectators.

In the overall standings, Lok Jagriti University, Ahmedabad secured first place with 8 points. Manipal University finished second with 7 points, while Parul University, Vadodara claimed third place with 4 points. SKD University, Hanumangarh secured fourth place with 1 point.

At the prize distribution and closing ceremony, the chief guests—Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Chancellor, JNCT Professional University; Prof. Dr. N. K. Thapak, Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, Chairman, AICTE; and Pankaj Kumar Jain, Sports Director, LNCT—felicitated the teams securing first, second, third, and fourth positions by presenting medals and trophies.

In the individual awards category, the Best Spiker award was presented to Azar Patel of Lok Jagriti University. The Best Setter award was given to Utkarsh of Manipal University, while the Best Libero award was conferred upon Ayush Chaudhary of Lok Jagriti University.

On this occasion, the referees and officials who served as match officials during the championship were honored with mementos. The Tournament Director Pranav Majumdar, Technical Director P. S. Thakur, and Ramesh Babu Vidyarthi were also felicitated for their valuable contributions to volleyball.

The results of the Top-4 league matches were as follows:

Lok Jagriti University defeated Manipal University 3–2.

Manipal University defeated Parul University 3–0.

Lok Jagriti University defeated SKD University 3–2.

Lok Jagriti University defeated Parul University 3–1.

Manipal University defeated SKD University 3–0.

Parul University defeated SKD University 3–0.
