CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the LNCT Campus, Raisen Road, Bhopal, under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), the RGPV Nodal Volleyball (Women’s and Men’s) Tournament 2025–26 was organized by Lakshmi Narain College of Technology & Science (LNCTS), Bhopal.
In the women’s final match, LNCT clinched the championship title by defeating TIT with a straight 2–0 victory in an exciting encounter.
At the closing ceremony of the women’s category, Dr. Amitbodh Upadhyay (OSD, LNCTS), Pankaj Jain (Sports Director, LNCT), and Lt. Anurag Chouksey (JNCT) felicitated the winning and runner-up teams by presenting medals and trophies to the players.
In the women’s category, the following special awards were presented:
Best Lifter: Aashi Rathore (LNCT)
Best Attacker: Rani (TIT)
Best Libero: Nidhi Patwa (LNCT)
The LNCT winning team included players Anushka Yadav, Aashi Rathore, Nidhi Patwa, Pratiksha, Anshika, Udita, Rekha, Bhumi, Lakshmi, Samriddhi, Nandini, and Manvi, among others.
Tournament Secretary Mahesh Sodhiya informed that the men’s final matches would be held the next day, followed by the prize distribution ceremony.
The event was conducted by Sports Officer Mukesh Tripathi.
