CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A group of 24 students from Lonavla, one of Mumbai’s popular tourist spots, have successfully completed their first-ever international educational trip to Belarus. The 11-day tour was organized by an international student exchange program aimed at broadening cultural understanding and providing exposure to global education systems.
During the visit, the students explored several historical landmarks, universities, and cultural centers across Belarus. They interacted with local students, attended workshops on European art and architecture, and also learned about Belarus’s history, traditions, and modern lifestyle.
For many of these students, this was their first time traveling outside India. The experience not only provided them with valuable international exposure but also helped them build confidence and improve their communication skills. According to teachers accompanying the group, the trip proved to be a blend of learning, cultural exchange, and recreation.
Parents of the students expressed joy, calling the trip a lifetime opportunity for their children. They appreciated the initiative for giving students a chance to step outside their comfort zone and experience a new country.
The organizers hinted that similar foreign educational tours may be planned in the future, targeting destinations like Poland, Germany, and France.
