CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal/Lucknow: A grand Bada Mangal bhandara was organised at Lucknow University under the joint aegis of the Dean Students Welfare, Department of Zoology, and EIACP-PC-RP, Institute of Wildlife Sciences. The programme was held with deep श्रद्धा, enthusiasm and community participation. The event was dedicated to the spirit of service, commitment and social harmony on the sacred occasion of Bada Mangal.
The programme began with traditional worship rituals, which were conducted by Professor Amita Kanaujia and Dr. Bhavana Mishra. Several senior academicians and distinguished guests were present on the occasion.
Former faculty members Professor Padma Saxena, Professor U. D. Sharma, Professor Monisha Banerjee and Professor Geetanjali Mishra were specially present at the programme. In addition, the dignified presence of Proctor Professor Rakesh Dwivedi, Professor Sudhir Mehrotra of the Department of Biochemistry, Professor Anil Mishra of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Rajendra Verma and Dr. Vineet Verma added to the event.
Among those present on the occasion were Dr. Shyamlesh, Dr. Kalpana Singh, Dr. Amit Tripathi, Dr. Suchit Swaroop, Dr. Rajesh Kharwar, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Madhu Gupta, Dr. Nitish Rai and Dr. Nidhi Dwivedi, along with several teachers and distinguished persons.
Students, teachers, staff members and visitors enthusiastically participated in the bhandara. Prasad and refreshments were distributed to all devotees during the programme.
Vinay Kumar and his team were specially appreciated for the successful organisation of the event, as they ensured all arrangements were carried out smoothly. Owing to their dedicated efforts, the programme was conducted in a highly organised and successful manner.
