CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the second day of his Japan visit, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Daiki Arai, Director of A&D Medical, in Tokyo and held detailed discussions on medical device manufacturing opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

CM Yadav highlighted the 75-acre Medical & Pharmaceutical Park being developed in Ujjain, calling it a prime destination for global investors. He stated that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a new hub for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Inviting investment in Ujjain’s state-of-the-art Medical Device Park, CM Yadav assured that the Madhya Pradesh government is offering land at subsidized rates to industrial units. He described the park as a key center for India’s rapidly growing healthcare and medical device sector, offering advanced infrastructure, government incentives, and special investment opportunities.

He also encouraged investment in healthcare, medical device manufacturing, and pharmaceutical production, assuring that the state government will provide full support to facilitate businesses. CM Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh’s policies, including subsidized land availability, special incentives for medical device, biotech, and pharma companies, along with excellent logistics and connectivity, are driving increased investment in the state.

A&D Medical Director Daiki Arai expressed keen interest in setting up a manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh, stating that they aim to begin operations by the end of this year. Notably, Japan-based A&D Medical is a global leader in medical equipment and health monitoring products.
