CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Madhyanchal Professional University has launched a special tree plantation drive to mark the 24th Foundation Day of the Patel Group of Institutions, which will continue for the next one month. The objective of this initiative is to create a greener and cleaner university campus, with a target of planting over 500 saplings.
The campaign was inaugurated in the presence of MPU Chancellor Preeti Patel and Pro-Chancellor Ajit Singh Patel. University officials, staff, and students participated enthusiastically, spreading the message of environmental conservation.
Chancellor Preeti Patel stated, “MPU’s mission is not only to provide quality education but also to nurture environmentally conscious and socially responsible citizens. This plantation drive will instill a sense of love and responsibility towards nature in every student.”
Pro-Chancellor Ajit Singh Patel said, “Foundation Day is not just a celebration for us but a symbol of growth and responsibility. We aim to establish MPU not only as a hub of knowledge but also as a model of a green and sustainable campus.”
The university administration has ensured that over the coming month, each department, faculty, and student organization will actively participate in the campaign, contributing to making the MPU campus more eco-friendly and lush green.
