CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Bhopal, on the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day, Maharshi Dadhichi Jayanti was celebrated with enthusiasm by the Rachna Sharir Department of LN Ayurveda College and Hospital.
The programme began with Dhanvantari Vandana. This was followed by the felicitation of faculty members and a welcome address by the head of the Rachna Sharir Department. Principal Dr. Sapan Jain and Director Dr. Vishal Sivhare addressed the gathering. They highlighted the inspiring life of Maharshi Dadhichi and his supreme sacrifice for human welfare, while stressing the importance of organ and body donation.
The programme received continuous guidance from LNCT University founder J. N. Chouksey, Secretary Dr. Anupam Chouksey and Executive Director Dharmendra Gupta. Students organised painting and rangoli competitions, and the winners were honoured with certificates by the judges.
The event was conducted through the active efforts of the Rachna Sharir Department faculty members – Dr. Madhuri Koche, Professor and Head of Department; Dr. Neha Jain, Professor; Dr. Swati Garg, Professor; and Dr. Richa Tiwari, Assistant Professor – along with the enthusiastic participation of students.
