The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Mahavir International concluded with grandeur and dignity across multiple venues including Birla Auditorium and Albert Hall in Jaipur. Themed “Salute to 50 Years of Service, Dedication, and Joy,” the event reflected the organization’s legacy and spirit.
🔆 Lamp Lighting & Cultural Evening
The celebrations commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a vibrant cultural evening. Over 150 members from across India showcased their talents on stage. The cultural theme, “Unity in Diversity,” was beautifully portrayed through performances from Punjab, Haryana, Kullu, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Siliguri, Telangana, and Chennai.
Dramatic and dance performances based on historical and cultural themes such as Hada Rani’s sacrifice, tribal Gondi dance from Madhya Pradesh, and the valor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj left the audience mesmerized.
A major highlight was the energetic performance by “The Womaniyaz Band”, which had the audience swaying to a medley of classic and contemporary songs.
Special guests included Mrs. Siddhi Johri, a symbol of women empowerment, and Anju Amitabh, a senior lecturer from Delhi University. The event also honored 74 founding members, former international presidents, and secretaries from various chapters with heartfelt gratitude.
🚶 “Salute Walkathon” – A Step for Humanity
The “Salute Walkathon” began at the iconic Albert Hall and concluded at Birla Auditorium, symbolizing a step toward humanity. More than 1,300 members participated with enthusiasm.
The Rajasthan Police Band added charm to the morning with its soulful music. The Jaipur Jeep Club’s contribution was particularly commendable. RJ Mohit Sharma, with his engaging hosting, kept the energy high throughout the event.
The release of golden balloons into the sky symbolized the organization’s commitment to growth and service.
🏅 Felicitation Ceremony & Thought Leadership Session
In the felicitation ceremony, donors, partner organizations, and outstanding contributors were presented with “Abhinandan” and “Sparsh” awards.
A special discussion session was held focusing on the NGO’s future strategy and working model.
