CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The newly appointed Administrator of Apex Bank, Mahendra Singh Yadav, entered the Subhash Yadav Coordination Building of Apex Bank with a grand joining procession. Accompanying him were Madhya Pradesh’s Minister for Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Backward Class Welfare Minister Krishna Gaur, Social Welfare Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Bhopal MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwan Das Sabnani, State Cooperation Cell Convenor Kishan Singh Bhatol, State Minister Raju Malviya, spokesperson Ajay Singh Yadav, Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Singh Suryavanshi, former Municipal Corporation Chairman Dr. Surjeet Singh Chauhan, Ravindra Yati, and a large gathering of supporters, making the event grand and dignified.

The procession was flagged off from the State BJP office by State President Hemant Khandelwal, Cooperation Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, and Backward Class Minister Krishna Gaur. The procession received a warm welcome at nearly 20 stages along Link Road No. 1 before reaching the Apex Bank परिसर.

During the charge-taking ceremony, Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang described Mahendra Singh Yadav as a dedicated and committed party worker. He expressed gratitude to the state leadership and the Chief Minister, stating that Madhya Pradesh’s cooperative credit movement is progressing steadily under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. He expressed confidence that Mahendra Singh Yadav would strengthen the cooperative credit structure of the state by working closely with him and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

He further added that the government remains committed to serving farmers and the underprivileged by providing loans at 0% interest, and will continue to move forward collectively in fulfilling this commitment.

Social Welfare Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha stated that he shares a 35-year-long association with Mahendra Yadav and that his own public life also began through the cooperative sector. He expressed confidence that Yadav, with his vast experience and dedicated working style, would take Apex Bank to new heights and fulfill public expectations.

On this occasion, MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani also mentioned his three-decade-long political association with Mahendra Singh Yadav and described him as a simple, humble, and dedicated individual.

After assuming charge, Mahendra Singh Yadav expressed gratitude to the state leadership and the Chief Minister. He said that he comes from a farming background and recalled that earlier, farmers struggled to get loans even at high interest rates of 15–18%, often falling into the trap of moneylenders. However, after 2013, when the current government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, loans began to be provided to farmers at 0% interest through a simplified process, which has significantly benefited the underprivileged across the state.

At the beginning of the program, Apex Bank Managing Director Manoj Gupta welcomed the guests and highlighted that, under the Chief Minister’s directions and the guidance of the Cooperation Minister, a campaign to enroll 1 million new members in the state began on April 14. So far, around 400,000 members have joined, and 60,000 people have contributed share capital.

Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar was also present at the event. The program saw the participation of senior officials including Special Duty Officer Aruna Dubey, Deputy General Manager Arun Mishra, K.T. Sajjan, Arvind Bauddh, along with all officers, employees, and thousands of people from across the state.
