CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the National Vector-Borne Disease Control Program, various activities were organized. At the District Malaria Office, under the supervision of Lab Technician Geetalakshmi, lab technicians Annapurna Dhuria, Ujjwala Khare, Neeraj Lodhi, and Deepika Tikle provided training in malaria and filaria microscopy and conducted public awareness sessions for students of LNCT Medical College.

Workshops and awareness campaigns were extensively conducted across various hostels and Anganwadi centers in Bhopal. In Shyamla Hills Hostel, Ward-24, Zone-21, Manoj Batham delivered information; in Barbai Hostel, Ward-75, Zone-17, Rajkumar Nagar conducted the session; and in Anganwadi Center, Ward-43, Zone-12, Shankarlal Verma educated people on mosquito-borne disease prevention.

Children were advised to remove unnecessary containers from their homes and to empty open water vessels within 7 days. Larvae identification training was also provided. Pamphlets were distributed, and larval surveys and elimination activities were carried out in hostels.

District Malaria Officer Smrita Namdev and Malaria Inspector Urmila Singh inspected Sanjeevani Clinic Roshanpura (Zone 21) and Ginnouri (Zone 05) and issued necessary instructions. Michael Hamilton carried out inspection and awareness drives at four locations in Ward-38, Ekta Puri, and Shankar Garden (Zone 09), issuing challans where required.
