CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Mandi Board’s digital communication system has now been made more secure. Official correspondence will be conducted through @mpmandiboard.gov.in, while the old Gmail IDs are being deactivated.
The Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board, Bhopal, has taken an important step towards making its departmental digital communication system more secure, authentic and organised. With the support of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the Mandi Board has completed the creation and onboarding of email accounts on the new official government email platform, @mpmandiboard.gov.in.
Under the new arrangement, official correspondence and exchange of information related to the Mandi Board headquarters, regional offices, technical divisions and Agricultural Produce Market Committees will now be carried out through the new government email IDs. The Gmail IDs earlier being used at the headquarters level are being deactivated. Emails received on the old Gmail IDs after the prescribed date will not be considered official communication.
The Mandi Board’s new email system is expected to promote authenticity, data security, accountability and administrative efficiency in departmental communication. Every officer or employee holding an official government email ID has been made personally responsible for the security of their account, confidentiality of the password and official use of the account.
The Mandi Board has made the list of new email IDs available to the concerned offices and has also published it on the board’s official website, https://mpmandiboard.in, and on office notice boards. Managing Director Kumar Purushottam has directed all concerned officers and employees to update their contact records and ensure the use of the new government email with immediate effect.
