CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the scorching heat of summer, when the juice of mangoes brings cool relief to both body and mind, festivals like the Mango Festival offer not just flavor, but also messages of social harmony and sustainable agriculture. In line with this, a special glimpse of the state-level 8th Mango Festival–2025, organized by NABARD, was witnessed at the premises of the State Bank of India’s Local Head Office.
The festival, which runs from June 10 to June 14, was inaugurated in the SBI campus by Chief General Manager Mr. Chandrashekhar Sharma. On this occasion, General Manager Mr. Omkar Nath Choudhary, General Manager Mr. Manoj Kumar, Deputy General Manager and Divisional Development Officer Mr. Ashwini Kumar, along with a large number of bank officers and staff, were present.
The highlight of the festival was the display of chemical-free mango varieties grown by families from various tribal regions of the state. This initiative not only promotes organic farming but also provides direct market access to rural communities.
As a confluence of health, taste, and sustainable livelihoods, the Mango Festival has now become an annual tradition that infuses the banking premises with joy and a spirit of entrepreneurship each year.
