CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) celebrated its Excellence Award Ceremony 2026 by recognising 376 faculty members, researchers, non-teaching employees and support staff for their contributions to the university. The ceremony also marked the 91st birthday of Founder Chancellor Dr. Ramdas M. Pai.

A total of 376 awards were presented across nine categories, covering academic excellence, research achievements, professional contributions, long-standing service and other areas of institutional support. Among those recognised, 123 employees received the Dr. Ramdas M. Pai Award for Professional Excellence. Other categories included Research Excellence, Young Researcher, Young Teacher, Standing Ovation, Key Enabler, Incredible Service and Research Track Faculty awards.

The occasion also featured MUJ’s announcement of an Overall 5-Star QS Rating. According to the university, the recognition covers multiple dimensions, including teaching, research, employability, facilities, governance and global engagement.

The university’s official rankings information separately records its 2026 QS World University Rankings: Sustainability position at 1201–1250 globally, while its QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026 position is listed at 658 in Asia and 93 in India.

The ceremony brought together university leadership, faculty, researchers and staff, combining employee recognition with the institution’s latest global recognition.
