The Marathi Vishwakarma Panchal Sutar Committee organized a community gathering at Dhanvantari Park on Sunday. During the event, talented individuals from the community were honored. The program’s chief guest, Bhagwandas Sabanani, State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and popular MLA from South-West Assembly, was present as a special guest.
The committee’s president, Uttamrao Kolankar, welcomed the chief guest with a shawl and coconut, while the committee members greeted him with a garland. Speaking on the occasion, Sabanani emphasized the importance of social unity, stating:
“For strong social bonds, it is essential that people of the community stay connected and meet regularly through events like these. Our elders have taught us the importance of festivals in strengthening the social fabric. Public celebrations foster social unity and brotherhood. I extend my best wishes to all the talented children of the community and hope they excel in their studies while contributing to society in various fields, making us proud.”
He further expressed his gratitude to the organizers for inviting him to the event and extended his best wishes to everyone present.
The event was attended by committee patrons Anandrao Pandey, Suresh Salunke, Secretary Arun Aojekar, Treasurer Harivijay Matotkar, Cultural Secretary Nilesh Jhagekar, and other committee members.
Talented students Tanmay Jhagekar, Kaniska Dighekar, Anjin Ingalkar, Deepti Aojekar, and Priyanka Balapure were honored with certificates of appreciation.
The event witnessed a large gathering of community members, celebrating unity and togetherness.
