CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the “Mati Ganesh – Siddh Ganesh” campaign, organised jointly by the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Narmada Samagra. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also released a poster focused on the concept of the campaign.
The Parishad will run this campaign as an innovative initiative towards environmental protection. Under the campaign, environment-friendly organisation Narmada Samagra will provide training through the Parishad’s network in all 313 development blocks of the state to Navankur Sakhis, Prasfutan committees, and students of schools and colleges.
The trained Sakhis will motivate and train local women in their respective villages for environmental protection and facilitate the installation of 10 lakh Ganesh idols made of clay in households. The campaign aims to make 10 lakh clay idols of Lord Ganesh and ensure the participation of 25 lakh people.
Parishad Vice-President Mr. Mohan Nagar, Planning, Economic and Statistics Department Secretary Shukla, and Parishad Executive Director Dr. Bakul Lad were present on the occasion.
