CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Bhopal Municipal Corporation Mayor Malti Rai visited the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) premises and held a meeting with officers and employees. During the visit, she reviewed passenger facilities, sanitation arrangements, and traffic management.
The Mayor instructed officials to ensure better facilities for passengers traveling to and from the ISBT. She emphasized paying special attention to cleanliness in the premises, organizing parking arrangements, and taking concrete steps to eliminate disorder in bus movement.
The meeting also discussed key aspects related to ISBT, including security arrangements, drinking water, toilets, waiting areas, and lighting. Mayor Malti Rai stated that providing passengers with a safe, clean, and convenient environment is a primary responsibility of the municipal corporation.
She urged employees to work responsibly and with team spirit, warning that negligence would not be tolerated. Officers of the corporation, along with transport-related staff, attended the meeting.
