CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The last date for admission to Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU) has been extended. Students can now apply online through MP Online until June 16. Additionally, candidates who have appeared for CUET-PG can also apply for postgraduate courses at the university.
From this academic session, the university is also launching one-year postgraduate programs for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate degree under the NEP 2020 guidelines.
It is worth mentioning that MCU is Asia’s first media university, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in various disciplines of media across multiple departments. At the Makhanpuram campus of the NAAC-graded media university, departments such as Electronic Media, New Media Technology, Journalism, Communication Research, Mass Communication, Media Management, Cinema Studies, Indian Languages, Library Science, Computer Applications, Advertising and Public Relations are operational. Students can apply for courses in these departments.
