CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A two-day workshop on the topic “Production Process” commenced at the Department of Electronic Media, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication.

The Head of the Department and workshop convener, Monika Verma, welcomed subject experts, anchor and journalist Akshay Binduwa, and senior lecturer from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Polytechnic College, Ashish Bhavalkar, by presenting them with shawls and mementos.

In the workshop, Director Akshay Binduwa shared valuable tips on “The Art of Anchoring,” emphasizing the importance of practical knowledge in anchoring. He stated that although anchoring in the media appears glamorous, it requires significant effort and dedication. Akshay provided tips on effective anchoring and voice-overs, describing pronunciation as a science. He urged students to focus on the clarity and purity of their voice and language. The session was moderated by workshop co-convener and producer Dr. Ramdeen Tyagi.

Senior lecturer Ashish Bhavalkar from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Polytechnic College elaborated on every aspect of camera techniques under the production process. He explained in an engaging manner how cameras are operated in media, documentaries, and films, the types of shots required in various situations, and the critical factors to consider during filming.

The session was moderated by workshop co-convener and studio manager Manoj Patel, while a vote of thanks was delivered by Senior Assistant Professor Lt. Mukesh Kumar Chaurase. Faculty members and students of the department were present at the workshop.
