The Film Fest “Cinebration 3.0” held at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU), Bhopal, witnessed a vibrant celebration of cinema, art, and culture. On this occasion, Lajpat Ahuja, President of the Satpura Film Society, addressed students as the Chief Guest. He stated that films and books are an integral part of our lives and society. They not only enhance knowledge but also help in understanding complex subjects.

Highlighting the deep connection between films and literature, he encouraged students to engage more in reading and watching cinema. Praising the films created by students, he said that today’s young filmmakers are choosing contemporary themes and presenting them effectively. He also announced a fellowship for film studies on behalf of the Satpura Film Society.

During the festival, the university’s Makhanpuram campus became a hub for cinema enthusiasts. Emerging filmmakers, artists, and art lovers actively participated in the event. Along with national and international films, student-made films were also screened, showcasing excellence in theme selection, cinematography, scriptwriting, and sound design.

On this occasion, actor Ajaypal said that India is a land of stories, and young creators are effectively presenting significant themes through short films. Meanwhile, actor Anshul Kukreja stated that the university is providing a platform for the younger generation to move forward in writing and direction.

Akash Gautam, founder of Mahakal Production, highlighted the global expansion of Indian cinema and extended his शुभकामनाएं to the students.

The event also featured cosplay, cultural performances, and presentations by student bands, which added to its appeal. At the closing ceremony, participants were honored with awards in various categories for filmmaking and acting.

The emerged as a strong example of students’ creativity and their dedication to cinema.
